Cradle-to-Cradle Certification

This section of our website is currently being developed to support our Cradle-to-Cradle certification and our wider sustainability ambitions.

Waste Reduction

Recycling waste is not just about recycling site waste and ethical sourcing of materials. The key is to formulate strategies to stop producing it in the first place.

Recycled Perforations

We produce hundreds of tonnes of metal punchings each year, but rather than melting these down and causing additional carbon emissions, we supply them for an alternative method

Buildings designed to use thermal mass to realise energy reduction through passive heating and cooling efficiencies are well documented.

Re-use and Recycling of PPC

SAS’ most recent endeavor to lower carbon footprint in the built environment is our new partnership with Nelco, a Europe based company which provides environmentally-friendly, professional and legal solution to recycling powder coating.

A key design and construction consideration for any sustainable building is its whole life costing. Many factors must be considered including maintenance, repair, refurbishment, waste, energy usage, demolition and disposal.
