International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The campaign's theme for this year is #BreakTheBias, striving toward a gender equal world free of discrimination and bias, a world that is diverse and inclusive for all. In an industry that started off as largely male-dominated, it is good to see more construction companies embracing the power and value of women as a part of their workforce. SAS celebrate this day by shining a spotlight on just a few of our hugely talented and fast-growing female workforce.

It is impossible to forecast the actual situation UK businesses will face in January 2021. We have planned for the worst case, whilst hoping for the best. Our priority is to ensure that we can service you, our customers, in the event that no agreement is reached with the EU, causing problems with the import and export of raw materials and finished products.
The impact of Covid-19 is set to change the way buildings are ventilated and cooled. The virus could result in a move away from conventional, recirculating air conditioning systems to more innovative solutions such as radiant chilled ceilings and displacement ventilation to help minimise its transmission in new buildings.
SAS is a world leader in the design and manufacture of performance metal ceiling systems. We passionately believe that our ceiling solutions provide beautiful, durable and cost-effective solutions to contemporary interior demands and this article sets out our case.
Acoustics is a complicated subject, but in an office environment, the most significant consideration is that hard surfaces reflect sound while softer surfaces absorb it. Hence the ubiquity of office carpets and fabric-covered screening. The inclusion of such materials helps, although in our new, super-clean, wipe-down world they are likely to be a lot less popular.
As an element of nervousness understandably surrounds the return to the office, an immediate move toward enclosed and protected spaces is likely.SAS has designed desktop and standalone Personal Space Management partitions as prefabricated solutions that can be quickly and easily installed on any office desk, crucially enabling offices to adapt ahead of reopening.
Our in-house teams have been developing products that not only contribute to the global effort of social distancing but aid in building confidence in those that will soon return to premises such as their workplace, service provider or retail outlets.
